Who is Suzy Knapp?
I wear a lot of hats. But somehow they all center around interior design. From owning and building our luxury cottages business in Oklahoma, to designing and managing our Nashville Airbnbs, to helping folks create the home they dream of through Hook and Hearth, designing interiors that make folks feel at home brings me a ton of joy!
With 20+ years experience in design and hospitality I bring a fresh non-traditional perspective to working with my clients. My goal is to make the designing process fun and accessible for everyone I work with.
Drawing from the rural country life I was born and raised in, to the metropolitan life I’ve lived in NYC and Nashville, TN, I bring a fresh perspective of charm and modern flair to all my home designs. I love mixing different design styles. I believe that’s the secret sauce to making a home feel curated and thoughtful. Plus it creates an organic movement of interesting details for the eye to feast on.

I love staying in homes when we travel. It’s a lovely way to taste “living” in a new place. So, having the privilege of creating a “Nashville home-away-from-home” experience for others has been a delight.
Our Airbnbs are located in the charming and walkable 12 South neighborhood. You get to live like a local and enjoy all the zing the city has to offer!
The Bungalow has an expansive front porch that’s perfect for afternoon sitting. The midcentury-styled interior has a touch of glam and is thoughtfully designed for comfort and aesthetic pleasure!
The Cottage, with its colorful bohemian vibe, is a cozy spot for relaxing after a day of shopping or an evening of enjoying some of the local entertainment.
